DAY | 1 Highlights Analytics Leaders Summit

The first day of the Analytics Leaders Summit Singapore — Predicting Customer Behaviour Through Analytics got off to a flying start uniting analytics professionals from across the Asia Pacific.


We at Enigma Consulting Group were delighted to kick off the first iteration of the Analytics Leaders Summit in Singapore today at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore.
The day was packed with Big Data content, invaluable peer discussions and a little magic by Andrew McKinley. The event started with an insightful opening address by Enigma CG’s MD Abeed Rhemtulla. First speaker of the day industry expert George Haylett provided unique insights on the potential of analytics, whilst Keynote speaker, Burak Alper of Experian, Singapore shared his knowledge of effectively managing consumer data.
Amongst the high-profile speakers were Malikkhan Kotadia who spoke about the “explosion” of big data across Asia, Head of Insights at LinkedIn Peter Hubert who unpacked and explained how analytics powers the World’s first Economic Graph, and Dr. Carol Hargreaves from the National University of Singapore, who elaborated on how enterprises can utilise Dynamics Analytics to learn what their consumers want. 
In-depth technical discussions, case-studies and specially designed panel discussions, underlined the invaluable benefits and incredible, untapped potential of analytics for organizations in every industry and of every size.


This summit was designed to offer Asian enterprises solutions, ideas and opportunities from professionals at the forefront of predictive data analysis. From customer insight and CRM to business analytics and data culture, presentations today remained focused on the cutting-edge topics affecting analytics with professionals from across the Asia Pacific attending.
There were notable presentations by Head of Analytics, Lloyds Banking Group, UK – Richard Davis on how analytics is used for predicting customer behavior, Jamshed Wadia, Head of Digital Marketing & Media, Intel Asia Pacific and a Panel discussion on consumer behaviour insights.
The Analytics Leaders Summit, Singapore will be the first of Enigma CG’s analytics events in Asia. We plan to continue to provide Asian enterprises with the answers and tools they need to take control of their information landscape and steer their organizations to better data fluency. Following the Singapore edition, the Analytics Leaders Summit will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia later this year, we plan to make the Analytics Leaders Summit an annual event and the most significant technology event in the region.
